In the cartoon, it always looked like a nible small great handling sports car. Like a Cobra.
That thing looks like a huge overweight slumbering lug.

Imho
Much like the 'Vette based Cobra replicas, it's way uglier than either the car it tries to replicate or the original Corvette itself. Better off fixing up the old 'Vette instead of spending money to ruin it and make it worth less than it was before.

Given the seller used an outdated "private listing"for his auction (Ebay masks bidder identities these days making that option a moot point), I'd say either it will be relisted again, or someone got taken for a ride, a really bad one.

More bizarre - it looks like somebody dropped $35K on it and actually bought it.
