Terry Crist
Hello,
Let me start by saying that I am not Terry, I am his son Tom. I know my father was an active member of this forum for quite some time, and that he enjoyed getting on here and helping folks in any way he could. Unfortunately my father passed away a couple weeks ago, due to complications of the Flu/pneumonia. I figured that some of you on here would want to know. My dad was a gearhead for as long as I can remember, but above all was a family man and would stop at nothing to ensure the happiness of his children and especially his grandchildren. I still cannot comprehend that I will never be able to see him again, or have him randomly walk up and put a hand on my shoulder to tell me everything would be OK. There will be no services, as he didn't want a pity party. If any of you feel the need to do something in his memory, the family wishes that donations be made to a fundraising event that is coming up in May. His granddaughter Bristol has a rare condition called CDKL5, and the University of Pennsylvania will match donations for this event dollar for dollar. Please make any donations in memory of Terry Crist. The fundraising page can be found here: https://socialfundraising.apps.upenn...e&id=105092984 Best Regards, Tom Crist |
Sorry to hear of your loss, Tom. I know what it feels like to lose a family member and the only relief from the pain comes from drawing close to family members and loved ones.
This thread is posted in the Lounge area of the site. Most members don't frequent this area and the posts here don't show up on the active threads page so relatively few who actually knew Terry will get to read it. If you want you can re post in the appropriate regional club forum or even in the Classic Roadsters forum that he was quite active in at one time. Condolences and all the best. |
Tom,
I am deeply saddened to hear of this. I talked with your Father several times and one of my friends up here bought his Cobra. I believe he may have gotten to ride in my Coupe when it was down there being worked on. He and the family are inm y prayers and I will post this over on our siute as he was a member there also and well liked. Ron  |
I'm sorry to hear this - my condolences.

Tom, that's sad news. I hope you and the family are coping OK.

Very sad news.
Tom- Your dad contributed a lot of technical information to this forum about the Classic Roadsters Cobra - information that has helped many (myself included) in our research about these cars. His spirit will live on, and be felt by others, for as long as his content is alive on this website. My condolences to your family on your loss. |
Sorry to hear of your loss Tom.
Condolences to you and your family. Gary |
