10 minutes after you reported the post,the spammers posts everywhere (about a dozen) are gone, and the person has been banned. In the interim, you post this?
Yes...in case you haven't noticed,I've been the only day-to-day moderator around here for the past couple of years. I move my fat ass around as fast as i can...rarely posting for my own pleasure anymore. I have to rely on members to report posts as much as my own surveillance. Now...for my own personal pleasure...since you were so goddamn impatient and made a snide remark...take a few days off. |
Since you banned me for "being an asshole" I might as well be one now. I guess your fat ass didn't notice I actually made this post first. I wasn't making a snide comment, I was simply wondering if we had any active moderators who could resolve the problem. I'm not the only one lately to wonder about moderators. You certainly haven't been very visible.
THEN I remembered posts could be reported so I went that route. Instead a thank you for bringing this to your attention I get banned for "being an asshole." I guess it's true that no good deed goes unpunished. So go ahead and make the ban permanent. This site has gone so downhill in the last year and no one who could do anything about the problems seems to care there's nothing worth comming here for. |

You could've gone back and edited your post or post a new one saying you reported it...you didn't. Receiving thanks, "no good deed"...yup...I sure as hell know what you mean. You know where the door is. Not worth my time. |
