What's it worth?

Hi all. I'm new here and looking for my first COBRA. I like the FFR cars. I found one and, being new, was wondering what others think it's worth:

2017 built with about 1,500 miles on it.
306 carburetor Blueprint engine.
TKO600
8.8 solid rear. All new.
17" wheels
Professional paint job in great shape.

Stainless exhaust and bar, full bumpers. Powder coated frame and I think engine bay.

No heat, wipers, top, etc.

I'm not sure the car as ever even titled.

Thoughts on price?

Hi. Go to this website and check how much they are asking and compare. They always have a lot of Cobras. They are over priced but you can get an idea of the value difference between FFR, Backdraft, Superformance etc... My guess would be low-mid 40's...

or here..

You will find the most FFR's on ebay.

This site pulls ads from a host of sites.

or the replica search which can reveal some other cars depending of the Ad verbiage.

Thanks for the links. Man, there are a lot. I poured over them. I wonder what some of these actually sold for. Hagerty doesn't track them on their valuation tool, with good reason.

Well, i'd figure what would be the cost to build the car with the present features. If you really like the car, and if you can get it for thousands less than the cost to build a similar car, then i would say it is a good deal. if it's not what you want, then i wouldn't buy it no matter how good of a deal it is.

First look into what your DMV would require to title that car. In some states it may not be possible, in others it may be a hassle that you might not want to deal with, or you could be lucky and it is easy. Give the DMV all the facts as they are, not what you hope them to be. Their answer will be based on what you tell them. What happens when you try to title it will be on the facts.

Now go read Mr Mustangs post for first time buyers. He has likely bought and sold more Cobras than most people have looked at.
