I do drive it, just not to fast with those old tires. In fact it turned over 42,000 miles the last time out. Every time I drive it I have to get used to the old 4 speed linkage as it feels as if I am pushing the shifter at least a foot for every shift. I got spoiled by the Cobras very short and quick shift 5 speed. If I live long enough to ever get the coupe back I will have to learn to drive it all over again too.

I have thought about getting an extra set of wheels with some good radial street tires and keeping the originals stored for shows and etc.

Mick,

There are a few pictures of it in my gallery. Not the best ones but at least you can get an idea of what it looks like.

The hell with it, leave your minds in the gutter.

Ron has a sweet, no blemishes, perfect, 1969 Torino. I think it the brightest red colored car they made.

It gets everyone's attention and deservedly so.

Bob,

No the dash isn't signed. Shelby had nothing to do with those cars in 69. It was completely a Ford NASCAR thing as they modified the Fairlanes into Cobras to race in NASCAR. As for what else do I have, I own a Daytona Coupe that I haven't seen for almost 3 years and have about forgotten about. To many doctor and dentist appointments for me to get hold of him this month.

Bob,

I have some engine problems with it and I suspect the guy that worked on it before may have messed something up. I talked to the guy who has it now and he said he may have to check more as it just won't pull at all and the throttle response is slow. Before that other guy did his mess on it, the thing was like a rocked ship. But he did it before I got the Coupe as the person that I bought it from had him do some work on it and I was afraid of something like this knowing that guy and his work.
