Wow, Mike nice pic of the engine. Is the fairlane a show car yet?

Steve actually has made it back. Glad to hear your loving Florida.

Ron, arn't you in a state that was moaning and groaning about no rain a couple of years ago?? Besides, I thought you were going to have the "Ron's drive bottled water" company up and running by now.

Kristen, I certainly hope things are going well at your place.

65 today, it may be the first day of Cobra driving for the year. OOhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, even the thought is enough.

Tru,

About 5 years ago we had a bad drought here and you could almost walk across the lake. But the weather is changing so much the past years that no one knows what to expect. Probably a really bad fire season next Summer when the under brush is all dry.

Ron... I think I would need a beefier... car

Tru... we're not quite there yet... she should be PURDY by Christmas... I may just pull the engine to replace the rear seal, paint the engine compartment and the engine itself.

Earl, yes... be afraid, be... VERY afraid.

No Cobra driving for me today - our governor is commissioning an ark to be
built - this our 40th day with plenty of lightning, thunder, and rain.
When will it end?

Went for a nice ride this afternoon ... after I ran out of gas while warming it up in the driveway

Warren,

Must you keep rubbing it in. Remember, one of these days it is going to stop raining here and then it will start there and I can drive and remind you of what you are missing. And don't say it won't rain there. With this weather we arehaving any more it could snow there. Look at Flip in Hawaii. I heard the Govt. is doing a study about putting pontoons under the island to keep it above water.

Thumbs up

Ron61

Yesterdays ride was fantastic . But I was amazed when it ran out of gas while warming up in the driveway. Guess that the dozen or so rides I've taken this winter used up all the gas and Stabil. As Freddie would say .... Arrrrughhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa

Its 11:30 now and temp is above 70 ºF. Hallelujah, blessed be the Cobra.

Took a video yesterday and posted it to a web site. Will add a link later.

Time to eat a quick lunch and then go for a RIDE. Think I'll go into Boston and make a run thru the Ted Williams Tunnel to Logan airport. Nothing sounds better than a Cobra going thru the gears in a tunnel.

Life is GOOD
Hope it stops raining wherever you are (and no tornadoes either).

Gee Warren, don't have too much fun.

Are you doing London???

We are taking up a collection: first, We secretly know Ron has bottled all the water in his drive and is selling it on the black market. Second, we now plan to open a bottled water facility in Flip's back yard as Ron did not cut us in on his operation. SOOOOOO, if you want to get in on the ground floor of the "Flip at the tip" bottled water company ( or if you want to add to collection for the "save Flip from the rain" fund ), just post it on CC and someone with an interest to get your money will send you a mail.

Thumbs down

Warren,

Ok, you asked for it. Now we are going to send you our cold, wet weather. I live in Northern Calif. just 7 miles from Shasta Dam. And it is cold and raining right now still and we are already over 19 inches above our normal. I don't even know if my car will still run it has been so many months since we have had a warm dry day.

Ron

Tru,

The water that is washing my driveway down the street is far to dirty to bottle. In fact with all of the rain and overflowing sewage plants around here, the regular tap water is starting to taste worse than normal.

Boy, I'm all tired out after going for a 3 hour ride (maybe it was a 3 hour tour and you can call me Gilligan).

Ron, it was so nice, I even planted some pansies out in the front yard ... the flowers, not the guys with limp wrists

Tru - I live just south of Boston and do not have a trailer, so the ride to London would be a bit much. Regarding the bottled water, I live on the ocean AND have a fresh water stream that runs in my backyard only during springtime, so I could make my own bottled water.

Second gear rubber and shifting into 3rd at 6500 RPM inside the Ted Williams tunnel is like heaven on earth. ..... and you thought the country wasted 15 billion on the Big Dig? No way, especially with the long tunnels .... better than the Boston Pops!

Whew, spring is here! 65*, sunny and lovin every minute of it. Sorry Ron, but not really.

The cat ran like a champ on all 6 cyclinders for 10 seconds, then shut off. Re-bled the lines... Check... still no worky. Checked the solenoid in the pump... it works, engine no worky. Timing advance unit... BLASTED timing advance unit. Wait for a new one... 2 weeks to 3 months

... Engine sure did get the attention of a couple of girls that happened to be walking by at that time though...
