 I am soooo confused!!!!
is tru having a party for Frenchy and that turtle??
can turtles and frogs mix??? froggles???

do the turtles migrate while the frogs are in the ponds???

Fred's frog thinks he's a bullfrog. ok.
Warren's turtle thinks he's a tortoise. ok.
what's going on here??
I am sooo confused!
i had a turtle one time. named him Toby....
let him 'go' in turtle creek. yes, a real creek running almost straight thru downtown dallas! almost.
Fred will of course give you the exact co-ordinates. he's good at that!!!
off to Papadeaux, where i will enjoy turtle soup and frog legs. !!!

yum yum!!

No, I am not having a party for Frenchy, Fred is going to have to take care of that. And, I have not invited any turtles over either.
Yes turtles migrate from one location to another. The better eating ones are 12 inches or bigger.

I'm just waiting for the snow to melt. |

While all of you sickos were comiserating over turtles and frogs, I went for a ride. It got up to the mid 50's and almost all of the snow has melted ... so the streets are dry.
Here is a pic of the front of my high school. I was pretty popular in school cuz I had a 57 Chevy convertible. I just wish I had the $6K to buy a Cobra back then, but that much was way out of my league!

hi! trey is over and we are redecorating the garage.
hanging up a couple of new posters, great big vinyl poster of the new, non-existent 500, and just moving things around. Bought a new 'shelf unit' to house the 500 toys (hot wheels, 1:18, 1:24, etc)

fun!!! i'll take some pics when we are thru, and post them!

stay tuned!!
(kinda like preparing for a new baby- get out the baby bed, changing table, baby diapers, etc.)
i've swept out the garage, cleaned it up a bit. need to dust the shelves with the cobra stuff and the shelves with the red mustang stuff.
that's the not so fun part.
dusting is not my specialty.
more later!

Kristen,

The garage is looking really nice. Any NEW projected delivery date on the 500 yet? I hope it is soon as I know that you are really getting anxious to get to drive it before next Winter.

Well, the garage is looking well decorated. I like it.
Nik is home, very sick. I was up half the night with him. running a fever at 103.

Can't get used to this new time thing.

Decorations are incomplete without a GT500 sitting there next to Pepe!

that brings up a good point:
What are you going to name your GT500????

Unless I missed it, I am not aware of a name.

 Tru,
I hope that Nik is well soon and his fever goes down. That is pretty high for sure. And no, you never missed anything. Kristen hasn't posted a name for the 500 yet, but probably has several for the dealer.
She should have it in another month or so.

Sounds good to me. Rufus and Pepe sharing a garage together. Wonder what happens when one of them insults the other and they have a big fight.

 Penelope???
(call her Penny for short. )

guess i'll have to do what i did with Pepe; take name suggestions, and let the Dallas group vote. Wow, this is JUST LIKE when i bought Pepe. I got him March 4, 2004, and ran nominations here on CC, then the Dallas group voted at the April meet, which just so happens to be around my birthday! In '04 it was ON my birthday, and it was a lot of fun!!
Gary Morris submitted about 10 names, and ultimately his suggestion of "Pepe" won.
Any nominations by Fred will immediately be disqualified!!!!
