Hey everyone. Just checking in. I had one hectic week. There are 5 engineers in my dept and 3 were out all week. To say I was busy is an understatement. About 2 hours to go to the party.

Joe,

I hope the weekend is great and your big party goes well. It has at least cooled down into the upper 90s here for a day or so.

Thanks guys. We had a great time last night. I am a little hung over, but the wife is real bad hung over. She is back in bed and not doing so well.

Tru, I was ready to go and just waiting for the time yesterday. Everything was done.

Ron,
I finally got my pictures from last weeks car show uploaded. I remembered you wanted to see the few I took as well. http://s298.photobucket.com/albums/m...fee%207-25-09/

Joe, good to hear you had a good time.

Fred, it isn't the temp as much as sitting. It's not like you can park and go for a walk. You move ten feet every-so-often.

I got this in an e-mail and thought of the new Health Plan. I like # 28.

These are sentences actually typed by Medical secretaries in NHS Greater
Glasgow:

1. The patient has no previous history of suicides.

2. Patient has left her white blood cells at another hospital.

3. Patient's medical history has been remarkably insignificant with only a 40
pound weight gain in the past three days.

4. She has no rigors or shaking chills, but her husband states she was very hot
in bed last night.

5. Patient has chest pain if she lies on her left side for over a year.

6. On the second day the knee was better and on the third day it disappeared.

7. The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be
depressed.

8. The patient has been depressed since she began seeing me in 1993.

9. Discharge status:- Alive, but without my permission.

10. Healthy appearing decrepit 69-year old male, mentally alert, but forgetful.

11. Patient had waffles for breakfast and anorexia for lunch.

12. She is numb from her toes down.

13. While in ER, she was examined, x-rated and sent home.

14. The skin was moist and dry.

15. Occasional, constant infrequent headaches.

16. Patient was alert and unresponsive.

17. Rectal examination revealed a normal size thyroid.

18. She stated that she had been constipated for most of her life until she got
a divorce.

19. I saw your patient today, who is still under our care for physical therapy.

20. Both breasts are equal and reactive to light and accommodation.

21 Examination of genitalia reveals that he is circus sized.

22. The lab test indicated abnormal lover function.

23. Skin: somewhat pale, but present.

24. The pelvic exam will be done later on the floor.

25. Large brown stool ambulating in the hall.

26. Patient has two teenage children, but no other abnormalities

27. When she fainted, her eyes rolled around the room.

28. *The patient was in his usual state of good health until his airplane ran
out of fuel and crashed.

29. Between you and me, we ought to be able to get this lady pregnant.

30. She slipped on the ice and apparently her legs went in separate directions

Joe,

There were some really nice cars there. Thanks for posting the pictures. The white one with red stripes really reminded me of my old one.

Just goes to show you that there really is no requirement to handle some of these high paying jobs.

Some of these are gems.

It is like the list from an insurance company of the more interesting reasons why an accident occured.

Boy, talk about having plenty of room. Must cost a fortune to keep that place open with just the one tenant.

Ron,
That is SSSammy from the board here. It is actually Silver, but the sun was at just the right angle and it does look white. It is an ERA (actually the ERA car that I mentioned to you that I got to drive).

All of the cars were nice but that one really caught my eye with the paint scheme. The white out here was the best color ever as it never showed this red dust like my other cars of all colors do.

I saw one that was painted a horrible yellow with 20" wheels and it looked terrible. Especially with the Fuel Injection Chevy Emblems on the fenders and the MG top that was so low the owner couldn't get in without almost laying down. The rear end wasn't anything close to a Cobra, I am not sure what it was, but it was in the show as a Cobra and it was UGLY.

"A rose by any other name..."

Ron, I am not sure that car should have been considered a cobra.

But, then again, what do I know?

Tru,

The people running the show weren't sure what to call it either. So because the front end did resemble a Cobra and the guy claimed it was his own design of one they called it a Cobra. To me it looked more like about 5 different brands of cars ran together and that is what came out of the mix.

Cooler weather finally. Just got into the upper 90s yesterday and is supposed to only be around 94 today. It is almost cold after that heat wave we just had. Also 47 fires are now burning due to a lightning storm in the mountains, but they are doing a good job of containing the ones around populated areas.

Ron, that is so wild, we are going to get some 90 degree days.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is in a couple of weeks. They say it is the largest car event.

I avoid it every year, but I was thinking of going down this year.

Tru,

It must be getting as large as Hot August Nights. I quit going over there years ago because it just got to big and spilled over into two towns and the desert.
