Thanks to the two best looking people on CC, and they ain't Ron nor Tru.

Just got back from a nice 3 hour ride this afternoon. Posted some pics on the chat thread. Seeing as I'm now equal to a popular speed limit, I stopped off at Tony's clam shack on the beach and picked up a haddock fish and chips and an order of fried clams. This was the first fried food I've had in about a year. Boy was it goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddd.

But someone has to celebrate. Tomorrow I have to go to lunch at a very ritzy restaurant. My 3 sisters are buying me dinner. Hmmmmm. Filete mignon with a lobster maybe? (Thats a New England BBQ) :p :p

I'll start my diet on Thursday after the 4 cookouts I'm supposed to go to on Wednesday. I'm so full now I have to loosen my belt by 2 notches. :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE

Thanks again ... do not send any cake, but I will be by for some kisses. ;) ;)

trularin 06-30-2007 06:40 PM

Yeah, I always liked speeds well above 80.

hey,littlecobra 06-30-2007 09:56 PM

I always give out birthday kisses. :)

Warren,

Sorry I am late but Happy birthday. After all of that great food, you and Turtle will be hibernating for a week. So you are now a popular speed limit. I still think 25 is to slow on the streets around here. Besides, they are so rough that only people with pickups and the kids with the ricers can go over 25 on them. I am almost equal to a popular speed limit. The speed of light.

Ron & Tru - you are beyond help. :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE
But thanks anyway.

Ron61 07-01-2007 06:34 AM

Darn Warren,

Your birthday is almost on the 4th of July. What are you going to do to celebrate the 4th? Take a longgggg drive with Turtle and then eat and rest. Traffic here is just to darn much to go out driving on the holidays any more. To many mad people cutting back and forth between lanes and you still wind up next to them at the next stop sign or light.

Ron

wtm442 07-01-2007 08:45 AM

Maybe I could celebrate with the 200 million pounds of fireworks that will be set off on the 4th.

They expect over 9200 people will go to the emergency ward of hospitals due to fireworks.

I'll just drive the Cobra in the local parade and burn off a few thousand miles of the rear Goodboots. I have to drive all the way to the start of the parade. It has to be at least 300 feet from my driveway!

Last year I pissed off the Mayor - while I pointed to the Cobra, I said that I finally found something that goes faster than my increase in local taxes! He was not too happy, but all the other people were laughing. I even got a standing ovation from some guy about 10 feet from the Mayor.

Ron61 07-01-2007 10:06 AM

:)

Warren,

You have to go about the same distance I do for our Damboree Day's parade and show. It is just around the corner and one block down from me. I burn more gas starting the car than I do driving it there.

Ron :)

trularin 07-01-2007 04:48 PM

This seems to be easy for you.

wtm442 07-01-2007 07:23 PM

Easy, but its all uphill. Even the return trip

wtm442 07-01-2007 09:22 PM

Yummmmmmmmmm

I had the best steak I've ever had. It was a 10 oz filete mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I actually could cut some of the steak with a fork! Benjamin's restaurant in Taunton, MA.

My 3 sisters gave me a community present. A Magellan Maestro 4040 Vehicle navigation GPS. Guess I'll have something to do tomorrow. No excuse for getting lost now!

Went for a nice 1 hr ride late this afternoon. I found a deserted parking lot and tried some burnouts. That was until I could smell clutch material.

I bet it was that 5K RPM start that slipped the clutch a little.

Ron61 07-02-2007 05:07 AM

Warren,

Can I have your cobra when you can no longer fit into it? Or is that why your sisters are feeding you so well? One of them wants it.

Ron
