Yes, it was 38 years ago that Mary Jo Kopechne lost her life. And her killer is still loose living in Massachusetts.

Unmitigated POS.

Ron61 07-18-2007 09:33 AM

And you might add, getting wealthier and doing anything he wants every day. Must be nice to be completely above answering for anything you do or say. I really loved his little talk some time back about how we all have to reduce our carbon footprints even if it means giving up our automobiles and then he gets into his fuel guzzling jet and flies to the next place where he will get $100K for saying whatever they pay him to. At least he belongs to you and not us. :D

No one gets off scott free as it might appear. The time will come when those who lived their lives with integrety and morality will reap the benefits of those sacrifices. It comes down to . . . . . . . Do you want to have fun for 60, 80, 90 years, or for eternity??

No one gets away!

Ed,

Try to convince Fat Teddy of that. :JEKYLHYDE

Well put Jamo

POS indeed.

What's really going to be sad when the POS retires, are all the politicians and entertainers heaping praise.

...

That he could get off free is bad enough. But to run and win office afterwards, unbelievable. Money talks. Again. :(

HI Cobra 07-20-2007 09:11 PM

The saddest part about that scenario is that the people of that state still
elect him to office - sure doesn't say much about them (those who keep voting him in). I'm sure the others are very disappointed in the process.

Ron61 07-21-2007 05:29 AM

Flip,

Money and the Kennedy name have more to do with him staying in office than the people of the state. Just ask Warren. He will vote for him as many times as anyone will pay him the $1 dollar per vote going rate for Ted.

Sorry Ron, never voted for the Tedasaurus! Never have and never will. Even if you payed me - no dice! He has been the role model for Bill Clinton. Think about it. If it wasn't for Chappaquiddick, he would have been President. OMG!

Ron61 07-21-2007 06:06 AM

:)

Yea, but do you think that Monica would have gone for a ride with him?
