Newt's right. What we need to do is find Osama Bin Laden NOW... and other chief radical Timothy McVeigh wannabees. Route them out before their numbers grow into ever greater followers. Reveal them for what they are. A sorry debit to humanity, never a credit. Right now... more young Moslems and other young men are leaving the peaceful ranks of their majority. They are joining these dangerous radicals because they have fallen into a paranoid, them-vs-us believers situation. For some a super-righteous religious war, for others, just believing they are preserving culture and country... and still others, a new form of carpet-baggers. And this growing psycho movement is so encouraged by terrorists and others to spread their particular brand of fear. Out riling up the masses whenever they can. The same emotionally charged methods used by the Nazi's to rally general public support to crush the "bad, bad" Jews. History repeats itself. Humans everywhere are so gullible. And easily frightened. Some days, it is truely hard to keep perspective, even here in the USA. I can only imagine what it is like in third world countries. :( ... |
