Geology/global warming
Maybe this is commonplace, but I find it intriguing that since Aug. 16th three quite large volcanoes have threatened to erupt.

Have you been following the latest reports on Yellowstone? It seems they aren't sure what is going on as some parts of it are moving and others are swelling and then going back down. It is one of the Super Volcanoes in the world and if it should erupt it would be a real disaster. :( Ron :) |
There is a spot in Yellowstone where there was a colorful layer of pools. I forget the name, but the deposits colored this outcropping in beautiful hues. It has since dried up because of seismic activity. Now it is just chalk white.
