Found, Pot at end of Rainbow

That is funny as he----

When my wife and I first started dating we were driving down the road during a light drizzle. I looked over and saw a rainbow touching the ground in a city park beside the road. We went over and were literally standing at the end of a rainbow. In it no less. It was an awesome experience.

Didn't find a pot of gold, and luckily didn't find the pot either.

Lol! Steve, you should have started digging, buddy. Supposedly, the end of a rainbow is impossible to reach as rainbows are optical illusions created by the bending of light through water droplets relative to the positions of the viewer, the sun and the droplets. No two people see the rainbow in exactly the same position and as you move, the illusion also moves. That's why the little Irish buggers hide the gold there - so no one can get to it! Being one of the few to ever get there, you should've been packing a shovel!:D:LOL:

Hey Buzz,

How many holes did you dig before you realized that and built the out house over one of them???

Ron :)

Ron, It finally sunk in when the neighbors had me arrested for digging up their front lawn. Even after giving them a real nice outhouse from my yard to cover it up, the jerks are still pissed and refuse to speak to me.

It was am awe inspiring moment. I tell that story to people and they tell me they do not believe me, but so help it is true.

We were also in Yellowstone National Park and saw two rainbows at the same time one over the other. I do not know but I hear that is also rare.

Buzz,

That sounds almost like Turk's description of when he came home after he moved to Florida and they had dug the trench for his fiber optic line across his neighbors lawn. Some neighbors can be so unforgiving.

Steve,

You did have a rare experience. Only once have I ever seen two rainbows at the same time and they were one over the other. And that was when I lived in the North Part of New York State. The Northern Lights were really great back then but I doubt if they are nearly like that now.

Ron :)
