Do Not Call Registry

:)

ALERT###ALERT***ALERT

It has been 5 years since the Do Not Call Register went ito effect. You have to renew your number now. If you miss the deadline, you will be suffering with unwanted dinnertime calls for 3 months at a minimum:

If you prefer to hear what some yo-yo in a call 'boiler room', enjoy

Ron :p

Ron
They have already started calling ....

And now they can call our cell phones as well. So be sure to list those numbers as well. Even though the Do Not call registry says they can't have auto dialer's cal your cell phone they can still call the cell phones, just not with auto dialer's.

I checked and I have quite a bit of time until I have to renew.

Makes you wonder though, I get a poop load of calls as it is.

:D :D

Strange,

Before I got on that list I used to get two to five calls a day sometimes and in the past 5 years I haven't had but one or two calls and they apologized when I told them I was going to turn them in as I am on the Don't call list. It has worked great for me. Maybe all of my screening and such also helps.

I renewed my # a couple months ago, but since I've been on we get very few unwanted calls. The ones my wife does get she has a ball using her sick sense of humor just harassing the callers.

Thanks for the reminder Ron - I should be good for another 5 years now.
It has helped me. Nothing like getting a call from some idiot in New York
at 3 am who forgets he is 6 hrs later. No sale!

Flip,

I guess I shouldn't call you at 2:30 AM to ask how the weather is over there then.

Ron :p

Thanks for the tip Ron. I just reinlisted in the war on telemarketers. I wondered why I've started getting a few calls that I thought were covered by the "opt-out". I played around with a couple of them. Good for a few laughs.
