We invented "sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll," as I recall. I was careful about sex, I NEVAR did the drugs... but I lived for the rock-and-roll. It was a most excellent decade to be a teenager in SoCal, lemme tell ya! UT |

Those were the days when the hippies controlled Haight Ashbury in San Francisco and I would spend all day walking among their vendors and stuff. I got a lot of great shirts and other things for very cheap prices. And you could walk in complete safety. Then the dam drug dealers moved in and ran the hippies out and the cops don't even want to go into that area. Darn, if I just hadn't been so old then I could have been a hippy and had a lot of fun.
