U Tube
Is there a way to save a U Tube video?
|
Yes, it ask you if you want to save it right under the screen.
|
Not all of them offer that option.
One 'trick' is to clear you cache (Temporary Internet Folders), then launch the video. When it plays it is often (not always) now in the 'cache'. There is a LOT of files in there, but much less since you emptied it. Now open Windows Explorer and find it. Search function won't usually work, you have to track it down manually and the name may or may not be anything like the file you just watched. It will be a 'movie' of some kind and that is you clue. Even if you DO find it, it may require some special software to view it independantly on your computer. If you find it in the cache you CAN save it, it has been 'down loaded' to your hard drive! |
I would send a message to whomever posted the video and ask them to e-mail me a copy. That would be the "correct" way. Get permission first.

I agree Warren.:)
Please send me the original jpg of your avatar:3DSMILE: and if only print is available, please send it as a 55x78 poster.:D :JEKYLHYDE |
J.T.,
Are you asking for the avatar of that lady sailor? |
I have used http://vixy.net/ to convert. It will convert the Flash file to a .avi, or a few other formats. It works, but the playback quality is much lower than the original on YouTube.

What video are you trying to save, hmmmmmm?;)
