Sandy Berger holds the winning hand
IMO, Sandy's paper stuffing has got bill&hill between a rock......you know.
Now he is one of their adviser's...yeah right!. I'll bet there were plenty of bedroom conversations, or phone calls since they don't cohabitate, about what to do?. What will it take for sandy to flip?.... I anxiously await.... |
Yes - Hillary Clinton has selected a team of national security advisers led by the "triumvirate" of Madeline Albright, Richard Holbrooke, and Sandy Berger.
Mr. Berger was President Clinton's National Security Advisor, he's also the only National Security Advisor in U.S. history to be convicted after stealing and destroying classified documents. Hillary's inclusion of Sandy Berger in her circle of advisers demonstrates that, notwithstanding her law license, she really doesn't care about the law. She doesn't care whether someone violates the law if they're on her team, if the violation in some way helps the Clintons. Hillary's indifference to criminal wrong-doing suggests that she sees herself as above the law, breezily ignoring law when it's an impediment to something she wants. On the other hand, maybe Sandy made her an offer she couldn’t refuse? Maybe she didn’t CHOOSE him...maybe HE CHOSE the position! Also..... As of October 12, 2007: "Two years after agreeing to a polygraph in a plea deal, former National Security adviser Sandy Berger still has not taken the test, prompting 23 Republican Congress members to demand action by the Department of Justice. The aim is to determine "what documents were stolen and how our national security was compromised," said the letter by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., to the acting attorney general. Berger – who was placed on probation, fined $50,000 and stripped of his security clearance for three years after admitting he took classified documents from the National Archives – reportedly is advising Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, but the New York Democrat insists he has no official capacity. The documents have never been recovered, Rohrabacher points out in the letter." |
My take is simple, Sandy Berger was instructed by 'billery' to perform an act of common thievery. Now all three are co-conspirators, if sandy flips..their all in deep do do.........

Unfortunately, because of the huge mistakes of the current administration many more people are actually fondly remembering the Clinton years. Is it time to throw them all out and start fresh yet?

After reading some of your post Steve, I have no doubt you 'fondly remember'....

I met Clinton when he was campaigning. He reminded me of a very polished used car salesman. I felt slimey after I shook his hand. And no - I did not vote for him. Steve |

You need help, Steve - you've got the Know It All Syndrome that seems to be going around on the left. Also, what do you mean by throw them all out and start fresh? Do you have some sort of Socialist or Communist agenda? |
What I will NEVER understand is the unwaivering support of the black population for Hillary & Bill. Now WHAT exactly did Bill do for them? In fact, what real substantive stuff did Bill do for anyone? Talk about lemmings!

Mike,
I asked a couple of friends the same exact thing a few years ago. They answered that a lot of black people felt comfortable with him because they could identify with him. He also appointed more blacks than any other president. Playing sax on Arsenio Hall probably didn't hurt either. Steve |

I'm thinking - 1st) check out who blacks are supporting and then: 2) vote for the opponent black or white. |

CdC - Very simply... I was making the point that a lot of people are not going to care about the criminal activities of the Clintons if it means keeping the GOP from holding the reins. Perhaps I do know it all... but it is better than knowing nothing that seems to be pervasive on the right. And nope - no agenda other than returning to a small government by the people and for the people. But you must prefer the GOP and its insane spending. Steve |
And don't forget, Bill moved his NY office to Harlem!!!

Get your side to pass the line item veto. |
Now I like that! and amen...

Total Fed spending grew by 33% in Bushs first term. Gee...wasn't there a GOP majority back then? I guess if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. I think it is irresponsible to spend without having the revenues to pay for it. If the GOP wants to spend (and they do) they need to raise taxes to pay for it (and they don't). These budget games with not putting current our military spending into the budget is just dumb. Immigrant coddling - yep, I would agree with that. I don't support any policy that gives amnesty, or allows ilegal immigrants access to welfare, SS, education, or anything of that nature. Godless - there is one guy in Congress who recently admitted to being an atheist. Personally, I wish more of them were godless. That way they would have an equal bias towards all religions rather than the 'some are more equal than others' policies we seem to have now. And the line item veto was passed, and Clinton used it. You must have missed it. It was ruled as unconstitutional. And, being more of a Constitutionalist Libertarian than anything else, my 'side' rarely gets elected. Steve |
Finally!, after 4-5 post, we now know Steve and Ron Paul straddle the same fence. Looking closer you'll notice their left cheek hangs a little more to the left...
