IE7 and XP Help!!!
Way off topic – but I’ve run out of things to try. I keep receiving the same error message and being dropped after accessing CC. This only occurs with Club Cobra. The message – “Microsoft explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.” This started a couple of weeks ago and has gotten to the point CC is virtually unusable. I’ve disabled ad-ons, scanned for viruses, reset Internet Explorer (7) to mfg settings, and so on. Any help is immensely appreciated!

I switched to Firefox and Thunderbird about a month ago and never looked back.

If you really want to fix the problem, I think it is a problem with images. Certain images load but when you try to close the image or the page IE traps some error and wants to restart. You can try turning off images and browse in text mode but then whats the point. I get the problem on some websites but never on CC.
Good luck, but I would just go with Fire Fox.

Yep, I dropped IE except for work. We have a few security items that only work on IE, so I have to use it for work applications. Other than that strictly Firefox.
