Finish line

Hi Folks,
As a few of you might already know me, I am new to this forum. I need to buy a whole bunch of parts to complete my snake. I have been educating myself on this awesome site and just finished reading the entire thread about Finish line not delivering a cobra to a man with cancer (some time ago)

I looked at the catalogue and I was impressed of how extensive it is. But are they the only source and can I trust them after that ordeal a few years ago?

There are TWO Finish Lines. One in Vegas, they build cars, if you give them enough cubic dollars and time.

The second Finish Line is in Florida, they sell parts, don't build cars, great people, a real pleasure to business with. Florida has nothing to do with Vegas, two totally separate companies who happen to share a similiar name. LOTS of people, including me, purchase parts from Florida to build or maintain their replicas. I highly recommend them!

Theres been a lot of talk about "Unique" lately, there are TWO Uniques, one builds replica Cobras, great company. Should not be confused with the other one in Texas, builds Mustangs. NOT related in any way.

I greatly appeciate the insight.
Looks like I will be giving them a call since my build is missing a lot. I can't seem to find anyone who has abonded a a project to sell that many items.
Once agai thanks.

I think if you polled all the folks that have bought stuff from Finishline (the parts supplier) over the years, you would get an OVERWHELMINGLY positive reaction...great service, great quality!

I can see that as i do a bit of thread history flipping. It looks like I will be sending them some coin. I just wish I can buy most of my needs from others who may have items in the garages from left over builds. This way I save money, help out some other Cobra owners and make some acquaintances.
Rather then just buying what I need from a store....... Oh well got to do what I got to do.

Now if only George B Jr. would pass that as a law and declare it official. We would enjoy all the border crossing biz here in Niagara Falls....lol

Why not post a list of what you're looking for in the Wanted to Buy section of the For Sale forum...you might get lucky on some stuff.

Good idea counselor..!!!

Hey speaking of which.
A Canadian wealthy lawyer (go figure) who also ran our country (Prime Minister Brian Mulroney)and fathered NAFTA with President Reagan, is finally going to get hammered. He took 2.1 mill in a commission for a govt funded airline while he was in office. This is going to get ugly. Its all the talk here in the great white north.

The way I heard the story several years ago, B.M. took the money alright but he covered his tracks so well that it will be impossible to ever convict him of anything. However, it will be interesting to watch this play out, both in the courts and in the political circles.

What's the saying? 99% of politicians give the rest a bad name.

I almost forgot to say that Finishline is great to deal with.
