Most Cloned car

Ok, how many know what the most cloned car is? Also what is the most replicated car that can't be cloned? :)

Ron :D

This will be interesting, My uneducated guess would be the Cobra considering how many companies there are to replicate it. Then again that is too easy, so maybe a Shelby mustang?

Ron61 11-27-2007 01:07 PM

:)

No, you can't clone a Cobra because you have to use a real body of the type car you are cloning and if you have an original Cobra, then you already have one. There are a lot of GT-350 Clones, but that isn't the answer. I was really surprised when I read it in the magazine. Example is the using of 65 Mustang Fastbacks to clone the Shelby GT-350s. Now you can't find a 65 Mustang Fastback in this area at all as they have been used for clones mostly.

So, is 65 Fastback Stang the answer?

767Jockey 11-27-2007 01:13 PM

I'm guessing a Z-28 Camaro, or an SS Chevelle. Do I win anything?

Ron61 11-27-2007 01:13 PM

Ernie,

NO! Actually the magazine said this car has influenced more people to get into the car scene than any other car.

Ron

Excaliber 11-27-2007 01:45 PM

Oh, well it's a no brainer then, 59 Edsel! :D

VW Beetle? But what would you CLONE a Beetle OF? Gawd, don't tell me Herbie!

Ron61 11-27-2007 01:50 PM

No, keep guessing. I know every car show I go to I see one of these cars but I never thought about it influencing more people than any other car. I did see a show on TV about it and the series it was in and they had some funny stories.

Ron :)

Excaliber 11-27-2007 01:54 PM

Hmmm, a TV show car, not 'KIT'! I hated that piece of crap excuse for a car show. OH OH, could be the 01, loves to jump over things, GOTTA be the one! Just hazarding a guess... :D

Ron61 11-27-2007 02:00 PM

You finally got it. I was really surprised that it had so much influence on the car scene. But I watched a TV show some time ago about that series and they had some really funny stories about what they went through when getting ready to shoot the series. My favorite was them chasing some guy down and giving him $100 dollars for that horn, and then they got down the road a mile or so and went into some small garage and they had those horns there new for $25 each.

Ron

imagine2frolic 11-27-2007 02:11 PM

Hey don't knock the one redeeming factor on that show. And a few of the guests they had appear on it. :)

Ron :p
