Early Christmas Present from My Insurance Agent
I just got a phone call from my Agent that handles my home insurance. She said if I switch my car insurance, I can get a 20% discount on the home insurance.
She asked me what company had my car insurance. When I told her Arbella thru a different agent, she said that was the same company as my home insurance. She said fax me a copy of the coverage selection page, which I just did. One Hundred and Ninety dollars for faxing a piece of paper! Merry Christmas! |

Warren, I did the same thing a couple of years ago and it saves me over $200 a year. Now if they would just start lowering the rates!! After all the pay outs for the fires so far, I know they will go up a lot. :( Ron :cool: |
I got a 50% raise last year, because of the threat of the hurricane season. We had the nicest weather all season. I am expecting the same 50% reduction next year......YEAH RIGHT!:CRY:

My Cobra insurance went up $21 this year, after 6 years, but they also
increased the stated value by $1,500, an inflation bump. OK by me. |

Flip, My insurance will take a big jump because of all the fires. They have to make up the millions they will have to pay out for all those homes and things that burned. However I did get a Christmas card from the local hardware store with a $% dollar gift card in it that I can apply to anything not on sale. :o Ron :) |
