Two Years For Beating Helpless Person

Well the Judge ruled today on a case here that is as bad as some others. About 6 months ago a young guy that had a fight with his wife went out and a man with some disease that I can't remember, but who has to get around in one of those electric chairs was going by. This young fool who was mad at his wife ran out into the street, knocked the guy out of his chair and was choking him to death, when some bystanders pulled him off and started beating the shi* out of him. There were six or 7 witnesses and they said the man in the chair never even looked toward this guy, who also admitted that he was just ticked off at his wife and wanted to beat someone to death. His own words. So they gave him 2 years in jail with parole possible in 10 months. To bad the police got there before the bystanders finished the job. :(

Ron

Does California have an aggravated charge when the victim is disabled?

Did the victim file a civil suit? That might be the only real justice in this case!

What a gutless coward.

From the way I read it,it sounds like his wife would have cleaned his clock for him,so he left her alone. He had to find someone helpless.

I hope Bubba enjoys his company.

Sounds like a hate crime.
