Need a computer expert's help
Computer is an older one running Windows Pro
It seems like every other day I have to run Regcure to get rid of problems.. 1. getting 30-50 file path references problems 2. 100 ++ empty registry items.. What causes these and can I prevent them from re-acuring constantly.. I have AVG free anti-virus installed and AT&T firewall as provided from internet provider.. I forgot also how to check & see what programs are running on computer. ?? have a buddy with a Mac & it seems the ads on TV must be right as he doesn't ever have any problems--- Thanks Bill Gate for windows:CRY: Thanks in advance to those in the know.. |
I'll give a quick answer...then move this to the off-topic area.
RegCure is not exactly one of the most accurate programs. In fact, some authorities have categorized it as a "virus" or "PUP" Quote:
RegCure tends to cause things, then detect them, then warn you, then ask for money, then remove things. |
Understand--damn I even paid for it..
