Somethings gotta give...and soon. IMO, you will see many small businesses closing down and the big ones adjusting with lay offs and big cuts in expenses. I know some of this is already happening but, I believe it will go into overdrive. We will deal with it, it's just sad that some people will be permanently hurt and others for a long time...

Life as we once knew it is gone for good. There aren't hardly any mom and pop businesses around here any more as the larger ones have gobbled them up and for the most part just shut them down. We used to have 7 gas stations in this small town and now we have 3 if you count Circle K which I don't. We still have one grocery store and a small place that you can't hardly find anything in. I miss the small places where they had good stuff, the people were friendly, and the prices weren't out of sight. Ron :( |
