To He** with them. If they are uncomfortable working out in a gym with our citizens, then send their butts back to Iraq or wherever they came from so they can feel comfortable. We already have to have separate eating places for them. My suggestion of boiled PIG on the main menu didn't go over well.

It really amazes me how easy the people in this coutry roll over for outsiders.

I do think that if they come to this country to better themselves that is fine.

HOWEVER THIS IS THE USA DAMMIT. WE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU DO. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, PILE YOUR ASS ON A BOAT AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!

This is the argument I constantly have with my more liberal friends...How far are we going to carry this PC C**p before we wake up and realize we are diluting our culture to oblivion?

My immigrant grandparents wanted to integrate. That's why they came to this country. What the h**l is wrong with these people (And us). They are dictating the terms of their residence and we suffer spinal collapse as a culture.

By the way, the pig on the menu is not a bad idea...Have you contacted the Ha-Ha Harvard dining facilities?

I agree as well. Pretty soon, we are going to be back to "Separate but Equal".

What people fail to realize is that in a country with many different religious and social backgrounds, it is not possible to create an environment that does not infringe, insult, or embarrass someone. By catering to 1 specific group, you start to do each of the above to all of the other groups. I believe that we should have just a basic service for all people. If you do not like it, start your own service that caters. At the same time, Harvard is a private entity. If they feel that this is needed, then let them do it. If the students do not like it, then it should be dealt with by them. This should not be national news that is discussed on web forums.

My religious beliefs include saying the pledge of allegiance in school... no one is listening.

imagine2frolic 03-03-2008 11:51 AM

rdorman.....

High 5 to you...........Let them try that in the Muslim country they come from. They would be beaten if not worse. America....LOVE IT, OR LEAVE IT.....remember that one?????

I think that the real problem is that they expect non-muslims to bend to their requirements but on the other hand they will not bend one little bit to accomodate others. They want it their way in their country and their way when they are elsewhere.

I am a graduate of McGill University in Montreal where they recently had a problem with a muslim prayer area. Several years ago, the University agreed to allow muslims to pray in a room that was not being used. It was well understood that this was a temporary arrangement only. The University needed that area and advised the muslims that they would have to find another area in which to pray. Well the preverbial crap hit the fan. However, the University held it's ground and did not give in to the muslim demands. They managed to work out some sort of compromise with another area being used for the prayers.

Man!, I wish the 'angry white man' would really get angry and make them folks we sent to Washington, pay attention to our want's.

Ron61 03-03-2008 02:13 PM

:(

Perry,

Those crooks in Washington aren't going to pay a bit of attention to what we want. We need to vote them all out of office before they pass a law denying us the right to vote.

Ron

Joe Wicked 03-03-2008 02:21 PM

Ron, If that were to happen, then it would mark the beginning of the 2nd American Civil War. It would not be a pretty sight.

I agree. I strongly believe we as Americans need to hold on to our traditional values as if our very lives depended on it, because our lives of FREEDOM do. However, I don't blame others for trying to whine their way into a world where their wants and desires are put before all Americans. I think that would be a natural human desire. I blame the "Bed Wetting Liberals" that Americans elected to the local, state and federal levels for allowing such Bull $h*t to even be considered as our problem. Then I blame those of us Conservative Americans for hearing about it and not demanding the job of the Liberal Ass we allowed to get elected. Want to make a difference? Get pissed enough to gather support from like minded people, show up at the source in numbers and demand to be heard. Explain what the consequenses of their actions will be and make damn sure it happens.
