Daylight Savings Time

:)
Don't forget that tonight is the night to set your clocks ahead 1 hour. I started early as it is supposed to rain today and I want to get the day over as quickly as possible.

.... and lose an hour of sleep? No way! Time for a nap.

Ron61 03-08-2008 09:02 AM

Warren,

All you do is eat, nap, and take vacations and enjoy the beach. What is one hour difference going to make. You won't be awake long enough to notice it.

Ron :p

Cobrabill 03-08-2008 11:54 AM

I refuse to change my clock(s).

Excaliber 03-08-2008 12:54 PM

I'm gonna go with Cobrabill, screw 'em, I'm not changing my clock either! :D

J. T. Toad 03-09-2008 05:18 PM

This is LUNACY!!!!!! Idiocracy! (which if you have seen the movie is probably an accurate prophecy) (I am NOT recommending the movie, it is painful to watch)

HI Cobra 03-09-2008 06:29 PM

I'm with you Ernie - we don't need to change no stinking clocks here.
You do have to remember the changes when you call the mainland though.

FST FOX 03-09-2008 06:51 PM

Changed them after leaving the club

Ronbo 03-09-2008 09:28 PM

Well let's see how many of my employees are late tomorrow...

I say let's just bump them ahead a half hour and call it even.

Want more daylight? Get up earlier. Supposidly they're going to shift the dates again in a few years.

J. T. Toad 03-09-2008 09:50 PM

just wait until DDST (double daylight saving)..... hypocritical dunce buckets...

"weather- and lighting-corrected savings from DST were estimated at 0.18% with
a 95% confidence interval ranging from 1.5% savings to a 1.4% increase."

When I took 4 years off from working. The only clock we went by was my body clock. It told me when to eat, when wake up, and when to go to sleep. My wife once said at that time our only worry was the weather. Weather is important when you live, and travel via sailboat.............. THE GOOD OLD DAYS.....LOLOLOLOL
