It has been 60 years since WW II and we are still in Germany and Japan.
The "100 years in Iraq" doesn't scare me. I don't see us over there in the
capacity we are now to last that much longer. I'll find out a little more
clearly how things are really going over there shortly when my son arrives.
Other than that I have seen and heard many good things about real progress
being made and responsibilities being turned over that don't seem to make
it in the mainstream news. Their silence lately has been deafening.
Hillary and Obama have really done very little in their political lives except
make a lot of promises lately. McCain hasn't done a whole lot either but has been around longer and has a much better understanding of military defense.
I am looking forward to seeing just how nasty Hillary and Obama get with
each other in their quest for the brass ring. Should be interesting.
