That is really interesting. There appears to be quite a bit of "flame" right around the intake valve. Does anyone have a theory why that would be? The intake valve is closed at or near BDC so the valve being partially open cannot be a factor. The only thing I can think of is that the intake valve is probably the coolest component there.

I also found the incoming gas flow to be very interesting. I am sure that engine builders would love to be able to view this type of video as they are porting the heads.

I wonder how they got this video?
