Car Wanted For Movie
This is an E-Mail that I received from the Fairlane Club Of America. Jane is one of the officers of the club and the movie star is Clint Eastwood. So if any of you in that area have or know of a car like this, contact them as it is legit.
Spoke with this gentleman 3-31-08. One more chance to make your car famous. Gran Torino, any year, preferably not white or black. Will need photos. Probably a month before car is actually needed for filming, but wants to make arrangements as soon as possible. Contact him directly. Jane, FCA Office “We are looking for a Gran Torino in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area for a upcoming movie. Good money for the rental, will pay owner to be on set with car. Major film star involved driving car. No crashes, stunts, just everyday driving. Contact Brian at www.propsonwheels.com ASAP, 612-518-7720.” Ron :) |
Ron, which type of Grand Torino? Did they say? I think there is the sport, which was one of my favs, and the touring. Could be wrong, I am refering to 1973.

:)
Tru, That was the complete message. You could contact them and ask about the specifics. I believe the Gran Torino was the high end car in 1973 I believe and I think there was a Sport and Touring model but am not sure. Since they only specified a color I doubt if they care about the model as long as it is a Grand Torino. Ron **) |
