Gotta find someone to blame
After all this is America isn't it. It's the bat makers fault, . . . . yeah thats it, it's the bat makers fault.
FOXNews.com - Parents to Sue Maker of Metal Baseball Bats Over Son's Injury - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News . |
yes, it does amaze me that the R&D of "metal" bat manufacturing has developed so much in the last since the 70's.:JEKYLHYDE
I am surprised that they didn't include William Shroyer, but maybe they will go after his descendants.:JEKYLHYDE I wonder what lawsuit would have been filed if the bat would have split sending a spike into the boy's chest. Why is it that a tragedy, isn't just a tragedy? :( It won't matter, California, (it wouldn't surprise me) will soon classify bats and bat like items along the lines of registrable weaponry. :JEKYLHYDE Considering that Bonds made his record run with a a maple bat; the prosecutions claim that metal bats hit the ball faster, doesn't make sense to me. Should the 'hitter' be entitled to compensation if the victim wins a judgment? I am sure that the kids needs psychological counseling knowing he was responsible for such a tragic..... ACCIDENT! |
How come they didn't sue the batter for hitting the ball so hard, the ball manufacturer for making a very hard ball, the coach for showing the kid how to hit the ball, the other coach for not showing their kid how to catch??????
I don't think that I would make a very good judge. All of these stupid cases would get thrown out of my court very quickly. Millions kids have hit baseballs with metal bats without serious incident and they decide to sue the bat manufacturer. It doesn't make sense. Wayne |
How sad is it that none of these sue happy cases surprise me any more? What a waste of time and resources.

It's Bush's fault.
