Boycott
Victoria, Texas is a town about 80 miles west of Houston.....
Local Hispanic leaders there, in opposition to pending Immigration Legislation, boycotted all Caucasian owned businesses in the Victoria area this weekend as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community. The boycott was declared a success by the Hispanic community, noting that revenue in Caucasian owned businesses was down by 19%. Business owners declared the boycott a success as well, pointing out that shoplifting was reduced by 77%. And...shoppers reported they could actually hear English being spoken throughout the stores for the first time in recent memory...and customers paid with real money, not government cards.... |
If business was down 19%, and shoplifting was down 77%, then the store is actually up.......(figure figure figure, compute compute compute, carry the six....................)
58% to the good! THAT will show those Hispanic business "leaders"! |
Maybe the store owners should pay some radical group to keep them out of the stores under the guise of a boycott. Sounds like a really great way they got their point across.
Ron  |
Didn't the same thing happen here in Dallas? It seems I remember some of the same results when they started that crap here. That was right before the Police started the Mexican Rodeo, round-up.
The Mexican Rodeo is working in Irving, Texas very, very well. |
So I don't suppose we could do this with the government...could we?
