I'll be glad when November is here and we know who is going to screw us for the next 4 years. While the political humor is fun, most of this is getting old. The way I see it, Obama preaches hope and change, but doesn't say what he is hoping for and what he going to change. McCain, really hasn't said anything other than Obama is not a leader. Both are idiots and both will screw us in their own way.

This campaign started far to early and I wish they would pass a law limiting the time they can spend on this rubbish. It has gone on so long that many people are no longer paying any attention to it as they figure both are liars and neither will do anything but screw the people.

The US really has to consider some sort of electoral reform which would greatly reduce the campaign period. Presidential hopefuls are basically campaigning 3 years out of 4. Many voters are completely fed up with the process by the time election day rolls around. Let's not even talk about the present day cost of running a campaign.
Do you realize that they will be back on the 2012 campaign trail in about another year and a half or two years max? It is completely rediculous.

Perry, indeed I did have a flip, uh, change of mind.
I thought my original post was to harsh and did the edit for a softer landing. Politics, man it sure can wind a guy up...

I agree Wayne, and the cost of this campaign might be around 500 Mil.. That's also ridiculous. I would like to see the candidates just go one on one, no traveling around the country attacking one another. Once a week, during prime time so everyone can watch and make their decision.

Once again the lesser of 2 evils. We never hear how they plan to correct what is wrong. Only how wrong the other candidate is.

Ernie,
That is not a flip flop or change of mind. It is a reconstructing of your original statement to make it fit what you wanted to say in the first place but forgot while posting it. Just an age thing. We all have them.
Edit: I am getting ready to leave for the shooting range. Today is a nice day here and almost completely clear of smoke and I do need to practive. Anyone that would like to join in is welcome as you can get in on my membership. And I could use helploading my gun as those rounds are heavy.
Ron
