Some Muslims tried to get sharia law recognized here in Canada about a year ago but some politician(s) had the guts to tell them that we already have laws and a good legal system and they are not welcome to add another system here.
I am afraid that this could become the thin edge which will be expanded until they eventually will want their law to take precedence over the regular legal system. What drives me nuts is that the Muslims want their rights respected wherever they go but at the same time expect anyone visiting their countries to abide by their laws. They basically want it both ways.

Yeah, we should take advice from the British alright. I also read another article about some Brit whining about how our economy was dragging down their economy. Well in my opinion it's about time Britain did something to help us. I imagine we'll have to one day go back and save them from having to speak Arabic just like we did to keep them from speaking German. We ran Bloody Bam and his ilk off a long time ago so they could go to Britain and become politicians. Now they deserve what they get. I just hope they don't try to drag that garbage over here.

Just wait a year or so and the Muslin system will most likely dominate in this country. Then the anti death penalty protests will stop for sure.

I sure hope that America does not let this chit happen here.
I do believe that most people come to this country to better themselves and make better for their families.
However I also believe they should first be taught that this is America, and we have our own laws and we could give a chit about yours or where you come from. Speak our language and abide by our laws.
