I looked up asshole in the dictionary and lo and behold there was a picture of Dave Letterman. What a jerk!

I remember when Letterman was funny. I think it was in his first two seasons. Why they keep him around, I have no idea.

Letterman has every right to be pissed. He had a guest scheduled, guest didn't show because they had to go shampoo their carpet, Letterman then finds that guest on Leno the same night.

And don't forget - McCain announced his run for president on Lettermans show.

Well, my understanding is that McCain was booked on Letterman and cancelled saying that he had to go fix the financial mess. He then shows up being interviewed by Couric (who is also in NYC).
Letterman responds by making all kinds of jokes about McCain, and being po'ed that McCain lied about his reason for not showing. Seriously, what else would you expect a late night talk show host to do? The real question is,will Letterman be number 1 after Leno retires?My money says maybe for 3 months.Then whoever replaces Leno,will beat him in the ratings.Letterman just sucks.

Letterman USED to have an edge. He has turned into a slimey POS and a rediculous liberal. Saw him interview O'Reilly once. You don't have to like O'Reilly, but Letterman's treatment of him was disgusting. He even licked his own pencil then stuck it in O'Reilly's coffee cup before O'Reilly came out on stage. Grammar school humor.
And yes, Conan is slated to take Leno's job. I think he will do a good job. Stays fairly apolitical and all targets are fair game. Mike |
