Here's one little aspect of it nobody talks about;
Bush takes office, having already put Saddam Hussein on notice that the UN folly was gonna come to a stop.
(SEVENTEEN UN resolutions, Clinton should have started bombing after the first...)
He hasn't even unpacked the dishes when 9/11 happens, and finds the Clinton administration had been asleep at the international wheel for eight years.

First off Clinton warned the bush administration that Ben Laden was enemy #1 yes he did have him in his sites, but he had to be concerned about the cons and what they were going to say! as it was they spent the entire 8 years investigating him to no end! I have no doubt this will happen again.

No I say Bush is at fault for not getting Ben Laden, he after all is in bed with the Ben Laden's, his brother and family was at his Texas ranch during 9/11 and was flown out when the airspace over the US was closed to all traffic, but yet he still managed to fly the Ben laden's out, No I think he is in co hoots with them and does not really want Ossama killed, because his buddies in business the Ben Laden's don't want there brother killed. We had him in our sites now 4 times once under Clinton and 3 times under Bush, So you tell me, who is really asleep at the wheel?
Clinton was just distracted at the wheel, far less a sin then your boy Bush!

Clinton was offered Bin Laden ON A PLATTER by Sudan, with full knowledge of his past and guilt in several attacks.
Clinton passed, and it had NOTHING to do with ANY Conservatives.
He didn't want any chance of a Bay Of Pigs sort of thing to tarnish his "legacy" after the stupid sh!t he pulled in Somolia to kill 20 of our soldiers.
