Daylight Saving Time Ends
Don't forget that this coming weekend you have to set your clocks back an hour. Darn I hate that as I like it this way. I saw where the Governor of some state may lose being re-elected because he put that state on it and a lot of people are unhappy. Also that it may mess up the voting in some states, though they never gave any reason why.

DST is the most asinine ignorant abuse of control over the people.

Here's an idea;
Let's put the ENTIRE NATION on Daylight Saving Time and leave it there. No more bullsh!t swapping back and forth. Even here in AZ where we don't do it, we still have to remember everybody else's schedule changes. Cable and satellite TV schedules are moved for the rest of the nation, but here we see everything suddenly jump ahead one hour. War Time during WW II was done the same way. All clocks moved ahead one hour and stayed that way until 1946 or '47. Makes sense, and since we are extending DST every few years maybe we will get there at some point. When I'm President, I'll make it happen. :D |
