Ron, . . . . YOU DA MAN!!!

Exxon Mobil's profit was 14.83 billion on sales of 137.7 billion.
Do the MATH That is only a 10.8% profit on sales. That is nothing to write home about. If Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had that profit, we would not be in the mess we are in now. My congratulations to the upper management team for showing a respectable profit level during this period of wild swings in the world wide economy. If you are a small business owner, how would you like it if everyone in your neighborhood carried signs in front of your house denouncing your business as predatory and insisting you should pay a huge windfall profit tax because your business made a 10% profit? Pure stupidity and typical class warfare from the elite left-wing media. |
If we should quit buying gas because they made 10.8% net profit, here are some other companies that should be run out of business too :
Quit buying computers and most all electronics Apple 15% Intel 18% Nokia 14% After killing them we won't need : Google 25% Of course the phone company is pretty bad too AT&T 10% Sounds like O and the Demos are going to have a pretty easy time getting support in ruining our country. |
Why not stop buying all together.
What the heck? :D :D |
Also, buy Exxon Mobile stock so you can get a chunk of that profit.

Now why would we want this profit madness to continue? Companies like Exxon probably can pay good middle class wages, so that their employees can pay their mortgages, etc. We should join the Democrats in making it impossible for companies to pay a decent wage! :JEKYLHYDE

There are communists amongst us.

Does the smiley not make you realize that sarcasm was involved in my last post?;)

One oil company to avoid for sure!
BUY GAS FROM CITGO - SUPPORT COMMUNISM!!!!
Hugo Chavez and the gov't of Venezuela own CITGO 100%. Every penny of profit leaves the US and goes into their Socialist pockets. Sean Penn and Danny Glover love Chavez, along with much of the Hollywood crowd. Oh, and so does Barack Obama... |

True socialism is taking something of value from one person and GIVING it to another person. Exactly what Obama told Joe the Plumber. Sorry to rain on your parade, but you're all wet!   |

She does brag that she got more money from the oil companies for her people, and no matter who set it up in law, its still taking from one and giving to another, I know its a ridiculous comparison to socialism, but that was my point! its just stupid as saying Obama is a socialist! Tax, is a form of socialism, and we have had that written into law for years, and earned income tax credits is a Reagan idea, its the same thing Obama is talking about.
