Let's not start with all the venom! I'm amazed that in spite of the disaster Bush has been so many of us still think Democrats are cause of all problems. Have I told you about my 201K?

Regardless of who wins let's get on board and get this country back on track.

Bob

There was only one result that was going to change the way the rest of the world thinks of the US or A. This is a good thing.

The alternative is one slip in the shower away from the gun toting alaskan hockey mum being the leader of the free world (I can see russia from my house :LOL:). What an outcome that would be.

What i'm amazed about is that you liberals keep forgetting that despite how bad Bush was-Kerry or Gore would have been infinately worse.Liberals de-rail-they do not get anything back on track.

After NObama is done,you'll have a 101K.

Warren-you're forgetting that the current middle east situation is a result of Carter.

The rest of the world can have their opinion about us as soon as WE give it to them. The rest of the world dances to OUR tune-not the other way around.

Cobrabill - that attitude is at the heart of what is wrong with America. YOU are what is wrong with america. The rest of the world laughs at you guys because you elected a clown like Bush (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QO_CMbs-viw ) and you continue on with your head up your arse - with half you population not even able to point out where Afganstan or Iraq are on a map. Just one more ignorant redneck.

Fortunately the majority of your countrymen are not like you and voted for real change. Thanks god for that and god bless America.

I've never been happier than I am right now to see the negative whining the sky is falling hyperbole Republican buggerin' wankers get screwed! :)

The Republican party has some serious soul searching to do, their so wrapped up in 'their way or the highway' (as evidenced right here on CC) they've lost touch with the majority of Americans.

Was it Bush who said?

Uh, maybe it wasn't Bush, I probably just read it on some ultra conservative right wing 'Lounge' somewhere. But it sure sounds like Bush. :D Little wonder Obama was elected.

UKCobra 11-04-2008 10:46 PM

Faux News is hilarious right now. One 'usual' pundit after another talking about now being a time of reconciliation and reflection, even Rove. Brilliant! I agree 100% that a lot of soul searching has to be done to realize that we are all in this together, whatever 'this' is, but it's still great to see the mea culpa's. Bill Kristol, still 100% wrong about everything, yet still a pundit. Great TV.

Land of opportunity, everything is possible, things will change!
Like Dr. King said " I have a dream"
Like John Lennon song "Imagine"

No more McBush

Given the results and the fact your candidate won, you get this one post...but that's it.

You left and then came back voluntarily. You accept the Lounge for what it is...that's it. :)

Excaliber 11-05-2008 01:00 AM

Okey Dokey! :)

I think Ron is on the right track, delete a bunch of these BS political threads and free up some hard drive space.

Jamo 11-05-2008 01:26 AM

Thanks Oinie...we'll worry about the threads; you worry about your posts. ;)
