A message to winter (BRING IT ON!!!)

To the snow gods give it your best, I've got you this year. I finally did it after 20 years of hand-me-down POS snowblowers and all the crap that goes with them. The wife said as she does always just go buy a new one, me being cheap couldn't do that so after watching craigslist for months and losing out on a couple I finally got my baby. A two year old Honda two-stage in excellent shape, and for half price with no tax. This is the last snowblower I will ever own.

Now all of you that live in the snow belt know just how over the top these machines are and at half price they are still expensive. So I was glad to see that it had been well taken care of, and the fact that the person I bought it from was a dealer employee (he probably got a sweat deal when he bought it).
Thats all, I just wanted to gloat, bring on that snow,
Patrick

The running joke around these parts is once you buy a snow blower you will have a mild winter and not get a chance to use it-----but given your geographic location, that is not a problem.

Have fun!

I love my 20 year old Ariens snowblower. Here is a pic from Dec 05. Notice the tire tracks. I would still be shoveling it out without a snowblower. My question - why did you wait so long?

Without a snowblower, I could not do this ....

That is a nice snow blower and it in good that you got a great price on it. As for Warren, you don't need a snow blower to push the Cobra out the door and take a quick picture. Also the rumor from the Goddess is that this Winter Warren will need one of those big truck mounted blowers. :3DSMILE:

Ron :p

Of course, if I run out of gas, I'll have to manually shovel snow like Ron does so he can go swimming in his front yard. :) :) :JEKYLHYDE :p

Fred,

That alone will be a medical journal to be read at all of the major medical conferences. :3DSMILE:

Warren,

It is hard to swim in dust. But I could go over to the lake and play in all of the sand. That is an impressive snow blower you posted the picture of. Better start making arrangements to borrow it soon. :p

Ron :)

I use to snow ski all winter, and loved the stuff. Now I whine when it hits the high 30's here in Fl. My best 4 winters ever was sailing the Bahamas, and living in a swimsuit!

Ron61 11-10-2008 02:29 PM

John,

You are going to have Warren looking for his medication sooner than normal if you keep on with the nice Winter weather you enjoy while sailing. Of course he could do so if he would build a snow sail boat and could get it on top of the 10' of snow he is gong to have. Heck, he could sail up and visit Tru.

Ron
