College Students May Have Caused Fire

These kids probably come from fairly affluent families and they are going to get their collective butts sued off, along with their parents.
Hope the parents have huge liability umbrellas (if they will even be applicable in this case) as they are going to have very expensive legal fees in their future!
And justly should!

Maybe Jamo or one of the other lawyers on here could answer this, but couldn't the parents just use the imigration law like Obama did where it claims that a parents actions have no impact on a child and reverse it so that a parent has no responsibility for a child. And in most cases if the "children" are in college they are over 18 and there for an adult.

If the students are older than 18...the parents won't be liable.

I know FIRST HAND. If the 'kids' are minors the victim is screwed, period. |
