The change you 'O'NO! supporters deserve..

'O'NO!'s much preached 'change'........eric holder as AG, you guys remember him!. He directed the pardon of marc rich, the guy that fled the United States in 1983 to live in Switzerland while being prosecuted on charges of tax evasion and illegally making oil deals with Iran during the hostage crisis.

He received a presidential pardon from United States President Bill Clinton in 2001 during Clinton's last day in office.

'O'NO!'s handle should say....Change you won't believe.....

Tip o'........

...the freakin' iceberg, I'll tell ya....

Couple of people "in the know" that I've known for years are saying (each in their own way) that this takeover on 20 Jan. 2009 will make the Clintonistas' arrival 16 years ago
(?!) look tame in comparison!!! Yikes!

One of the above "sources" says that Osama-Bama's AG selection may well be the "mildest". She writes for the Bahstin Globe/Pravda, too! What I love about this lady is that she started out as an "unreconstructed" liberal and is now a "closet" Republican. Working at the Daily Worker/Globe however, she must keep a low profile. Imagine the value she'll have as a mole!

The other fellow (by the great Oirish name of Coughlin) used to write a "deadly column"* for the same Cwommie Rag, and just flat-ass quit because his "new" boss was some snot-nosed black kid, fresh out of B.U. and was "authoritarian". You can always tell a lot about someone by the way they treat the help.....ar-ar-ar

Coughlin says that this is going to be hysterical. He thinks that the uber-Lefty legislature is going to herniate themselves, trying to yank Osama-Bama EVER FARTHER to the Left!

I'm burying my arsenal in a lead-lined trunk in the back yahd.........

*obits, eh?

Incorrect. Some criticized Holder for "failing to intervene" or trying to block the pardon. He did not direct, or recommend it, or intervene in any way.

Presidential pardons are exclusively up to a sitting President. Most Presidents wait until the end of a term and issue a boatload of pardons. Of course, the current President pardoned Scooter Libby's conviction for his role in outing a CIA Agent.

And just wait till you see who Bush pardons, it's going to be a blanket pardon to include everyone in his administration or who were involved in torture, warrantless wire tapping, subverting the justice department for political gain,
and the list goes on.

Part of Libbys sentence was commuted - he was not pardoned.

Your time line is off Clay, all the fuss came up 'after' Eric waved it through. After all, he was the gate keeper!, hundreds of pardon applications, and you can bet you a$$ billy boy didn't read them all..........

Perry, It's not exactly the way you portrayed it in your OP. There is a bit more to the story.

All involved have admitted that the Rich pardon probably would have been handled differently by both had more vetting been done. You implied that Holder "directed the pardon." That is not the case.

I thought that Scooter was found guilty of perjury but never found guilty of outting a covert CIA agent (because Plame was not a covert agent at the time)?
