New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME) !

WRITTEN BY A 15 yr. Old SCHOOL KID IN ARIZONA :

Since the Pledge of Allegiance
And
The Lord's Prayer
Are not allowed in most
Public schools anymore
Because the word 'God' is mentioned....
A kid in Arizona wrote the attached

NEW School prayer :

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

If you aren't ashamed to do this,
Please pass this on.
Jesus said,
'If you are ashamed of me,
I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'

Not ashamed. Pass this on.

Hopefully we will stop worrying about the individual soon, and save this great nation before it collapses.

The original Pledge of Allegiance (written in the 1800s) had no reference to any sort of invisible guy. That was added in the 1950s.

The US motto 'in god we trust' was not made official until the '50s as well. E pluribus unum was used prior to that, and Franklin wanted the official motto to be 'Mind your business'.

Personally, I think the founding fathers did a good job with not including this stuff as they knew that religion was best kept in ones own church and personal life, rather than emulating a Taliban-style religious nation for Christians.

And since I bear no ill will towards those of other religions, I sincerely hope that you are all touched and blessed by His Noodly Appendage.

Ramen.

;)

This is just more evidence of whats on the way.You can be shure that when the one world govt. takes over anyone of any Religion other than the people worshiping the One world leader shall be hunted down and killed. You that study the Bible know what im refering to,the rest of you shall find out soon enough.now you can go ahead and trash us some more I expect it and could care less,as a matter im happy that you do and not ashamed.OO yea and if you dont like my spelling TUFF dont read it.

Sounds like a bit of a whiney rant to me. There was an old saying that "Your rights end where my rights begin". To the best of my knowledge, any student is allowed to pray as much as they want, but forcing their religious beliefs upon everybody else is where the problems start.

You can add that it also shouldn't be okay to force the governments beliefs or other freaks beliefs on me and violating my rights to worship wo and when I want to but that has gotten trampled by the ACLU

Yep, the ACLU is going about it all wrong. They are trying to restrict everything so as not to offend anybody. It should all be allowed, and Christians should have to share space on public land with Satanists if they both want to display stuff around Christmas time. And all those groups should have to pay for it themselves rather than it coming from taxes.

i agree with one thing - Each group should have to pay for any displays they put up
