Times Person Of The Year

What a crock of crap. How could anybody pick this do nothing as the Person Of The Year?

Person of the Year 2008
Barack Obama
In one of the craziest elections in American history, he overcame a lack of experience, a funny name, two candidates who are political institutions and the racial divide to become the 44th President of the United States.

Love him or hate him - you gotta admit...

Becoming POTUS is no small feat even for someone who has all the right things working in his favour. Pulling it off (bin?) laden with almost every conceivable prohibitive disadvantage - skin colour, a name that reminds people of America's two worst enemies, a sparse resume, no military service record and all the other negatives richly chronicled in this forum - has surely got to be one of the greatest accomplishments of all time, now hasn't it? :D

from Wiki...

"However, those such as Adolf Hitler in 1938, and Joseph Stalin in 1939 and again in 1942, and the Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, have also been granted the title."

no worries, he'll be shoe in for the Nobel Peace for breathing, his breath has less CO2 then the rest of us.

Does anyone here read Times, except in the Doctors office? Who cares?

'O'NO! was lead by the hand throughout the whole process, that, and the war got him in, he still knows nothing. His handlers will be running the country so, you will have many different opinions on what laws should be brought to the table. He's already hit a bump in the road and this is just the engagement period. Just wait for the honeymoon to end.

The liberal press would elect obama man of the year even if he gave the crooked governor the word to sell his job. THEY LOVE HIM UNCONDITIONALY just like a dog loves his master.

And, his opposition to the Columbia free trade agreement is not out of his (pathetic) deep understanding of foreign trade, it's his bowing down to the labor unions.

Alfred E. Obama (same smile and ears) Person of the Year.

What me worry? ...I know what to do, and that is final...never question me, I'll tell you what you need to know.
