Weird Things In Space

There are some pretty good pictures here and some interesting things concerning space. At least they are to me as I like all things they find out about the Universe.

We still have a lot to learn about space.

Jams,

Do you ever watch that program on the History Channel about the underground tunnels and stuff they are finding all over the world? We still have a lot to learn about this planet. The last one they found some more stuff in Egypt and one of the Egyptologists ( Spelling ) said that they figure over 70% of the ancient treasures and artifacts are still in undiscovered underground chambers.

Ron :)

Ron,

I do watch that that program about the tunnels. I find it quite interesting.

You are right we have a lot to learn about our own world as well!!!

Ron,
Download and install Microsoft's "World Wide Telescope" program. It is a collection of telescope images that cover the complete night sky. It also includes virtual tours of different space stuff like nebulas, star clusters, etc...

Joe,

I did that some time back and there are some great pictures. I really like the space pictures and the shows about the underground chambers and tunnels they keep finding on this planet.

Ron :o

yea, I like Cities of the Underground as well. One of the many programs I have programmed into my DVR so I don't miss any episodes. I found the recent one on Ethiopia very interesting. I knew there were churches that were carved into the ground, but I did not know there were 11.

Ron, Weren't you THERE when they buried all that stuff in Egypt? I mean, you probably have some papyrus scrolls showing the maps where everything is buried in Egypt, Right!!! lol !!!

Hey, don't tell those people. They will be bugging me for the locations. That would be a fun job for me. Getting to go through all of those places they keep finding and getting paid for it too. Just wait until they find the real BIG pyramid that is still under the sand.

Ron

Jams,

Here is the link to the program about underground cities. I watched the latest one about L.A. yesterday and how they did away with their subways and sold them to the car and tire companies who immediately ripped the tracks up and closed them down so people had to buy cars. Now L.A. is the 2nd largest city, has the worst traffic, and the dirtiest air and no plans for a subway. I believe they said it is the only major city in the U. S. without some kind of subway or train system
