I saw sometime back that they were going to cut their budget. I think I saw it on the NASCAR web site.

Toyota is involved in a lot more racing than just NASCAR. My understanding is that Toyota has the biggest budget in F1, bigger than even Ferrari. F1 is in the process of setting limits on spending to reduce operating costs. Honda pulled out because they just couldn't afford to compete.
I have also noticed that "Toyota" decals seem to be on all sorts of race cars these days. Many top fuel cars have Toyota as a sponsor, for example. Wayne |
