Arnold Asking Obama for Strict Vehicle Standards

Well it did not take long for our Liberal (RINO) Governer to show his true stripes again.

'O'NO! has a looooong list of 'far left' paybacks, stay tuned. I have a bad bad feeling about our future, this guy is following orders, not giving them.

That isn't surprising. But what if they let every state set their own standards. What an expensive mess to buy a new car and have to be sure it was legal in whatever state you are in. And that would stop some people from moving for sure if their vehicles were legal in their state but not in another. I would like to see the air cleaned up, but until they make Knauf and other factories meet their set emission standards it isn't going to happen. We never had smog up here until Knauf bullied and bought their way in and now people for a 2 mile radius around that plant are getting sick. The state did a study and it is something their smokestacks are putting into the air and instead of making them clean it up, they told the people to move farther away from the factory. Each year Knauf buys double the amount they can spew into the air.

We will all be walking if the liberals have their way.

Walking.....

....or at best...(yup, I'm gonna say it again!...)....on yogurt-powered unicycles! Ar, etc.

I really wish I could source up that video with the founder of the Weatherchannel denouncing the concept of Global Warming AND EVEN BETTER, ridiculing the idea that our tailpoop emissions are causing it! It was on some GW website I was surfing through. Sic semper Kompoota Klodz, I guess...

I would bet the Liberals won't be walking. None of them or the politicians are going to give up anything they have.

True, Mr. global warming himself (Gore) can't give up his G5.

What the Feds SHOULD do is take the exhaust emission levels from the 2010 automobiles and trucks, and decree that in 2020, the exhaust emissions levels will be cut by at least 10%. And by 2030, cut another 10%.

I think that the emission levels of all the current crop of autos and trucks are hundreds of times cleaner that 10-20 years ago.

The states should NOT be able to set their own emission levels in new cars and trucks. Instead, some sort of tax break should be given to people who turn in "gross polluters" and buy new (or newer) vehicles with better mileage AND lower emission levels.

This would be a better use of taxpayer-funds for bailouts.
