Perry!
Are you keeping count? What day of the Messiah's Reign are we in? Fifth?
OMG!!!!! It's the old liberal tactic: "Run to the Right, (get elected by any means) and Then Rule from the (far) Left!" Ar-ar-ar-ar-ar. |
Sounds like business as usual in the white house. What it doesn't sound like is CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i2f
|
The 'people' will get his undivided attention, you can count on it!. Can't wait for his first press conference.
|
"CHANGE" is what..........
....we'll have left after they tax us all to the bone.....!!!!!!!! Ar-ar-ar.
I honestly believe, when they boil this whole bailout and election down to the irreducible minimum...maybe enuff* people will realize how "broken" and self-serving this government is. Hellsapoppin', if they need a microcosm, look at Massachusetts! Or Illinois! Someone ought to fetch up the accurate data on just how many elected officials are under, or about to be under, investigation or indictment. Break it down by party! THAT oughta be a revelation! Yee hah! *but then again, maybe we should all play that "Idiocracy" loop again (and again). I t'ink this old roller-coaster has reached the apogee......glad my "launch" was 03/12/45, I'll tell ya! |

'War On Terror' Ends, Obama Starts 'Case Against Terror' by Scott Ott for ScrappleFace · 11 Comments (2009-01-23) — With the signing of executive orders to close the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay, to prepare to grant full U.S. citizen legal rights to foreign enemy combatants, to end the threat to ‘high value targets’ of ‘enhanced interrogation’ techniques, and to shutter so-called ‘black sites’ operated by the CIA in foreign countries, President Barack Obama sent a clear signal yesterday that George Bush’s ‘War on Terror’ is over, and Barack Obama’s ‘Case Against Terror’ has begun. “America’s enemies should not view these moves as surrender,” said an unnamed White House spokesman, “but rather as an effort to level the playing field and to make sure that our enemies get a fair shake.” “The battle will now be joined in the Case Against Terror,” he said, “not with lethal weapons, but with subpoenas and motions and detailed arguments. The next time one of these criminals destroys one of our skyscrapers, detonates himself in a shopping mall, poisons our water supply or unleashes a dirty bomb in a crowded subway station, he does so with the knowledge that the full power of the U.S. legal system will be unleashed on him, with no limit to the cash damages that his victims’ families can collect.” While Bush administration tactics produced nothing measurable, beyond seven years of attack-free living on American soil, the source said, the Case Against Terror be effective, legal and morally right, thus engendering respect among those who wish to destroy America’s way of life. “If a Khalid Sheik Mohammed, for example, knows he’s not going to be waterboarded, he’ll sense our inherent fairness and probably be more forthcoming with information.” the administration source said, “If he resists, then he knows with certainty that he’ll spend months, and perhaps years sitting in a courtroom, listening to attorneys argue fine points of process. He’ll be begging for the waterboard.” |
Remember old Honest Abe....
.."you can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time"! (Sumpin' like dat). Oh, how true. Too bad the first of these three scenarios is swelling up like a volcano.
Pretty soon, Idiocracy will seem like an accurate prediction. Chow, |
Since when in a war, and that is what this is, do you give a dam about your enemy getting a "Fair Shake?" They don't care about our people at all and should be treated as what they are. Terrorists with no rights and then shot. Ron  |
...
Obama. Sure does look like politics as usual to me. A lot like the Clinton administration. I can't help but think McCain would have been different. He's been on a vendetta to be above reproach, and take the country up with him, ever since his name got dragged through the Keating Five horror. Quote:
Heck, be kind, offer them a last cigarette, ask them if they want a blindfold etc. We could even go the extra mile and use .22 short ammo ...as long as it takes. :D Wes ... |
"broken" and self-serving, that's it Fred!.
|
Ron........
..I was thinking (re the pukes presently incarcerated in Club Gitmo) of the old "Shaka Zulu" method of taking out the trash. Remember? You give each sheet-head a "seat" on a long, sharpened stake (let's leave the bark on most of it!).....
We could even record the first all-Islamic opera! Yippa daing! |

Wayne, Why should we give the same legal rights as Americans? They sure don't give our people the same legal rights as they do their own. War of any kind is the low point of mankind and I think should be fought to win, no matter what tactics you have to use. The alternative is much worse. Not nice I admit, but I have to agree with Patton. The more you kill the less there are to kill you. I wish we could all live in peace and just leave each other along but I do not believe this is ever going to happen. The word is in a downward spiral now that I am not sure it is going to come out of without the unthinkable happening. But I pray ever day for some good news even if it is just something minor. Ron :) |
Y'know, thinking (if that's the right word!) aboot jack Murtha.....
.......two questions come to mind:
1) Was it a head-wound, Jack? 2) Will that be 248 more Democratic voters in your district, Jack me boyo? Time for an obligatory EEG (no, that's not sumpin' a chicken does!) for all Lefty electees. |
