WhiteHouse.gov
In case you were not aware of President Obama's web site:
" WhiteHouse.gov will be a central part of President Obama's pledge to make his the most transparent and accountable administration in history " http://www.whitehouse.gov/ |
I still have a wait and see attitude about most of what Obama will or will not do, but this was one that area that I was pretty sure was going to be an improvement over Bush, and certainly McCain.
Obama and his staff are a lot more web savvy, and this is a good thing. I am also strongly in favour of mostly transparent government, and that was a sticking point I had with the Bush administration. From my own personal experience, my friends who always vote DNC seem to have a higher average computer literacy than my GOP friends. I'm basing this on the fact that they tend to get a lot less glassy-eyed when they ask me a computer question and I respond with technobabble. However, a couple of my GOP friends are in the industry, and they don't glass up at all. Steve |
You don't have any GOP friends! On the other hand, I can sure see were people in general get glassy-eyed when you speak - do they have an OMG-WTF expression, also?
