Kids Eating Minibikes and ATV's ??
I think it's the adults writing the laws and regulations that have ingested way too much lead.
How stupid/PC can you get ???**) "On Wednesday, the mud hit the flaps for thousands of motorcycle and recreation vehicle retailers across the country: All of them had to cease selling small off-road motorcycles and ATVs designed for kids, because, according to a provision of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, the machines are dangerous. Not because a child might have an accident on the diminutive machines, but because if a child develops an appetite for the device's brakes or battery terminals and decides to eat the ATV or motorbike, lead poisoning may result." http://www.mediapost.com/publication...art_aid=100149 |

That is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. What if they decide to eat the battery from their family car? On the other hand, with people like that making laws, the electric car would seem to be doomed. Ron |
Did this originate in Kalifornica?
I don't think any kids have eaten ATV's. At least it hasn't been on the news around here. Sometimes you just have to say WTF are these people thinking. |
Aw Jeez.........
......all these years, I thought I was s'posed to eat the old batteries from me trucks, cars n' botes. The dump won't take 'em. Krikeys!
