Rasmussen poll: 76% percent don't want to pay higher taxes to pay their neighbor's mortgages

Thank God for a bucketload of sanity. Will it change what these IDIOTS are doing? Nope.

Personally I give it 6 months before Congress critters start getting nailed by pi$$ed off citizens.

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

DCdC, A-Fred et al,

Have y'all heard Rush's "Banking Queen" spoof jingle, re Bawnie Fwank? Hysterical. Paul Shanklin (Sp?) deserves a Grammy or whatever they give radio aces.....

I have - Rush is the best. That's one thing that the liberal talking heads cannot seem to do - be humorous, of course, that takes talent as well.

Pretty hard to see the funny side of things when all they can see is the 'make believe' they think is reality.

There's also the "Hairy Reid Talk-show" parody....

...that's a gut-buster. The first (and only) call-in is from Al Bore.....priceless.......

I thought little Tommy, wanting the "old-fashioned" tuna, replete with medical waste, porpoises and dead sea-turtles was also a keepah!

Wish they'd so at least two or three a day!

Next up - Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009

It reportedly has 9,000 earmarks (Obama stated running for POTUS that he would go line by line and eliminate unnecessary spending.....just one earmark.....

I'm thinking that manure management needs to happen in DC, big time! Let's see how many earmarks Obama eliminates.

After that......

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama wants a significant "down payment" for overhauling the health care system: $634 billion over 10 years. A senior administration official says Obama's budget calls for financing the overhaul by trimming Medicare spending and limiting tax deductions for upper-income earners. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the budget won't be released until Thursday. About 48 million Americans are uninsured, according to recent estimates. The cost of guaranteeing coverage for all could easily exceed $1 trillion over 10 years. Obama has asked Congress for health reform this year, but senior members of both political parties say they are concerned about the cost.
____

Concerned about the cost? Hell, it's only $634 billion.

Why not. The SOB will soon be paying them to illegal aliens and giving them the right to vote to make sure he and his group of morons stay in office. Look for them to do away with the term limits on President if they think about it in time.
